Once upon a time, Bayo founded and ran a company dedicated to promoting and preserving native African languages using interactive media. While the journey was for the most part thrilling (and crazy!), he came out of that experience convinced that, what he loves most is getting his hands dirty with building products and navigating the process it entails from concept to shipping! The blurred line between work and play means he's constantly playing! Emma is a self-taught engineer who first discovered her passion for programming while doing a part-time programming job during her Psychiatry PhD. After leaving her PhD to pursue a career in engineering, she got her first junior developer role in a FinTech company before making the move to Netwealth. Jess's Biography

Jess is an ISTQB qualified Test Analyst with a B.A. in Human Communication. She has experience in both Manual and Automation testing, and has worked with many different testing tools and programs, including Azure, Postman, MTM, SSMS, Visual Studio and others, and has worked across a variety of projects looking at testing APIs, websites, and systems.

John's Biography

Before joining Netwealth in 2023, JJ utilized web development tools, including Angular, C#, and SQL, to streamline actuarial processes at Willis Towers Watson. Prior to diving into software development, he served as a resort representative in the French Alps, overseeing university students on their ski trips. Outside of work, JJ indulges in burritos and volunteers as a trampoline coach at Manchester University.

Lerisa's Biography

Prior to joining Netwealth in January 2019, Lerisa started her career as a junior software engineer at Persistent Systems Limited, Goa - India. There she focused on working in different technologies and languages such as Angular, AWS and Java, developing application features, and delivering projects based on clients' requirements. Lerisa has also worked as an intern in Netzsch Technologies India building their remote web application i.e. Designing Task Allocation, Progress and Resource. Lerisa holds a B.E. in Computer Engineering from the Padre Conceicao College of Engineering and has gained distinction, 74.02% in 2017. In her spare time she enjoys browsing fashion and travel blogs.

Matt has worked in IT for 20 years, starting as a workshop and remote engineer repairing green screen terminals, printers and servers followed by support helpdesk and release management roles at Fitness First health clubs and finally settling into QA and test automation roles covering IPTV, VOD and digital signage products for Tripleplay Ltd and enterprise backup software solutions for DELL.

Mujtaba's Biography

Muj graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2015 with a 2.1 in Computer Science. At the start of his career he developed software solutions for well known fleet companies such as Sixt and Europcar. Before joining Netwealth, Muj built several applications for a research and consultancy firm that worked very closely with the European Commission. Back end (.Net/C#) is his bread and butter but he takes a massive interest in front end development also. Outside of work, Muj loves his football, music, and travelling abroad.

Shraddha's Biography

Before joining Netwealth in January 2020, Shraddha started her career with Swiftcover Insurance. Working on various products and technologies Shraddha gained experience in the full life cycle of the application development, leading to strong professional skills in Microsoft Technology stack and Agile Methodologies. She designed the training program and trained the developers on the internal MVC platform during the AXA takeover. Shraddha got an opportunity to work on Angular and Microservices in her next role at CliniSys Solutions. She is an enthusiastic self-learner and believes in the fact that there is no age for learning. She just started learning a classical form of Dance, Bharatanatyam and enjoys painting, cycling, yoga, reading and badminton in her spare time.

Rich's Biography

Rich has over 30 years' experience in software design and development using the Microsoft stack. Prior to joining Netwealth, Rich built software for a number of large organisations (Abbey National & Thomas Cook), software houses and creative design agencies. Rich also founded his own company in 2004 and launched a practice management product aimed at the legal market. Rich's current focus is on building and growing effective, happy, and talented Engineering Teams.

Chris's Biography

Chris has over 25 years experience developing and delivering software systems for the insurance, financial services and marketing industries. He started his career at Clerical Medical and then helped build Data Interface Ltd into a successful financial services software company. Prior to joining Netwealth, he founded his own social media analytics company, Awedience. Chris' expertise covers a wide range of technologies including scalable cloud architecture, security, development processes and design patterns. When not working, he loves nothing more than berating other people's choice of coffee, and surfing near his home in Devon.
